Jump for Joy Foundation relaunches to advance youth wellness and combat childhood obesity
After a decade of growth and preparation, the foundation returns with a renewed mission to help children become stronger, healthier and more confident.
“Our first run showed us how much potential there was in serving kids and families,” said Anthony Alegrete, Founder of the Jump for Joy Foundation. “We took time to get educated, to grow as leaders and to build the expertise needed to make a deeper impact. As a father of three, watching obesity rates climb and kids becoming less active made it clear that we had to step back in. The need is greater than ever and we are ready to meet it.”
The foundation’s return marks the beginning of a new era for its signature programs, including Camp J.U.M.P., the TEAM Program and the annual JUMP Conference.
These initiatives blend movement, mentorship, nutrition education and positive psychology to support the whole child. The updated approach reflects years of research, experience and community feedback gathered during the organization’s hiatus.
Jump for Joy Foundation believes that wellness should feel enjoyable and accessible to every child. The mission remains clear. Make it fun and cool for kids to be active, healthy and fit.
With fresh leadership, expanded programming and a sharpened strategy, the foundation is equipped to serve families and communities nationwide.
