Acceptance Criteria
Jump for Joy Foundation accepts gifts, donations, and contributions that align with our mission to promote child wellness and prevent obesity. All gifts are reviewed to ensure they support our goals and do not impose restrictions that limit our independence or integrity.
Types of Acceptable Gifts
We accept gifts in the form of cash donations, grants, securities, and bequests. Non-cash assets such as property or equipment are reviewed individually to determine suitability and impact on operations.
Restrictions and Conditions
We reserve the right to decline gifts that include conditions, obligations, or restrictions that conflict with our mission or values. Donors are informed of any limitations before acceptance.
Valuation and Acknowledgment
All gifts are recorded and acknowledged in accordance with federal and state laws. Donors receive a written acknowledgment and tax documentation as required.
Stewardship and Accountability
We manage all gifts responsibly and use funds according to donor intent and organizational priorities. Financial stewardship is maintained through internal oversight and Board review.
Gift Acceptance Committee
A designated committee of Board Members reviews significant or complex gifts to ensure compliance with this policy and assess their fit with the organization’s strategic goals.
Acknowledgment
All Board Members, staff, and key volunteers are informed of this policy and are expected to follow its guidelines. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or removal.
Jump for Joy Foundation is committed to ethical fundraising and transparent management of all contributions, ensuring that every dollar supports healthier, stronger children and families.
